Baron Thnard, better known as the historic owner of a sizeable holding in Le Montrachet, farms several hectares mid slope here. This is serious red Burgundy from the Cte Chalonnaise, a Pinot Noir with structure, dark fruited depth, and the kind of mineral spine the
