Bambusa multiplex Green Giant Andropogon This small (and very cute)Bambusa 'Green Giant' is a 2011 Plant Delights JLBG introduction. It started its life years earlier when we spotted a green mutation on our clump of Bambusa 'Alphonse Karr'. The removed sport grew to Sasquatch proportions (25' tall x 8' wide at the base), making it perfect to hide neighbors junked cars (subcompacts to full size). Our original clump does see some tip damage at 14 degrees F, but has much better winter hardiness than the other Bambusa
