Hibiscus aculeatus Brunswick South America wavy grey-green leaves are eachThis wonderful native from NC, south and west to Texas, is one of the lesser known of our native mallows. Our 2006 introduction is propagated from our original collection from Brunswick County, NC. Hibiscus aculeatus is found in upland bogs, roadside ditches, and coastal pinelands in the lower Southeast.
