The vineyard has a south-west exposure and it is a little less steep with deeper soils that act as excellent water reservoirs

and the Chardonnay portion came from Amaya Ridge just a little further into the mountains

Planted in 1994 on sandy loam with a limestone wash from the hillside. Whole cluster fermentation and aged on the lees in neutral barrels for 11 months. The wine went through native primary and secondary fermentation and is unfiltered and un fined with under 20 ppm of total S02.
