Garrya wrightii Catron Helicodiceros The bold-textured Coniogramme affinis 'PingGarrya wrightii is a little cultivated evergreen desert shrub, native to shaded alkaline rocky cliffs from 5,000' to 8,000' elevation in Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico. The 7' tall plants are adorned with terminal spikes of leucothoe like white flowers in spring, followed by attractive clusters of purple berries.
