2022 Domaine Rene Rostaing Cote-Rotie La Landonne, Rhone, France St. Agrestis or “Höhle”From Rostaings prized 2 hectare parcel in the schist rich, iron laced soils of La Landonne, this 100% Syrah is sourced from vines averaging 40 years of age. The 2022 vintage underwent whole cluster fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by a 4 week maceration. Aged for 24 months in a mix of 228L barrels and 600L demi muids, with minimal new oak. Bottled with light fining and filtration.
