It takes quite a few steps in making these barn quilts

I’ve stuffed the pincushion with wool scraps and embellished it with a wool felt heart

Just a quick note about this one… I tried free-hand painting so it really does look hand done… my lines are a bit wobbly

The background is an old French letter and envelope with original stamp. The blue stamp was the inspiration for this piece. The hand is the palest blue textured paper. Handwriting was on the other side, but not very pretty handwriting so I used the blank side. The heart and the cuff are papers that I aged and watercolored. Did you notice the ring?
