The vines are planted on the original estate of the early California wine pioneer Agoston Haraszthy

so as to add extra skin tannins and just a little tannin from the seeds and stems

The wine was assembled and hand-bottled in February of 2021

The wine enjoys a traditional levage of 12 months in barrel (2025% new oak) before resting another 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks to maintain vibrancy and clarityy without the need to fine or filtered.
