Ajax was a hero in Greek mythology that played a pivotal role in the Trojan war. Taught alongside Achilles, Ajax was described as being tall, extremely tall and fearless. At the end of the Trojan war it was he and Odysseus that retrieved Achilles body in order to bury it.
