Description
Aspidistra tonkinensis 'Hanoi Honey' is a 2021 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a collection near Hanoi
with short stalks of lavender flowers in summer
We have only a few to share
so we'll always have a flower show produced by these new seedlings
starting in late April with stalks of amber colored flowers
Micranthes pensylvanica Peucedanum Aspidistra tonkinensis 'Hanoi Honey' is(aka: Saxifraga pensylvanica) From Canada south to North Carolina, bog saxifrage can be found in moist woodlands, bogs, and seeps. The flat, deciduous rosettes are composed of hairy green basal leaves that can reach 3" wide x 9" long. The rosettes are topped, starting in early May (NC) with fuzzy stalks that end in a branched terminal panicle of up to 50 tiny white flowers. After flowering, the rosettes continue to look good for us all summer.
