2018 Weingut Jurtschitsch Grosse Reserve Brut Nature, Niederosterreich, Austria Julien Pineau Whole cluster stem inclusion addsSourced from 50 year old Grner Veltliner vines planted at nearly 400 m elevation in Mittelberg, above Langenlois, the base wine for this Brut Nature spent three to four years on lees in large Austrian oak barrels, then underwent secondary fermentation in bottle with no dosage added. Fermentation is spontaneous and the wine is disgorged manually after extended cellar time, producing a fine, persistent mousse, bright acidity, and stony minerality
