Lobelia cardinalis Towering Inferno Tamarix (aka: Parodia schlosseriLobelia cardinalis 'Towering Inferno' is a 2022 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a seedling we found here at JLBG among a large patch of self seeded cardinal flower. At 7' tall, this clone stood out above the rest, which ranged from 3 4' in height. The 2" wide stem base was necessary to hold this massive specimen upright.
