We love it both as a solitary specimen as well as in a massed planting

Hosta montana Shunko Nishiki Brazil in moist but well-drained forestsThis beautiful sport of the large growing Hosta montana was discovered by Japanese nurseryman Hiroyoshi Watanabe. It superficially resembles H. 'On Stage' (Choko Nishiki) with long, pointed leaves featuring a brilliant white center and contrasting medium green border. Each 3'+ clump (we don't know a mature size, since most Japanese grown plants are kept in tiny little pots) is topped with stalks of light lavender flowers on 48" scapes.
