Pierre Gimonnet Champagne Blanc de Blancs 1er Cru Brut Fleuron 2019 SCCOS weaves spring flowers and crèmeGimonnet is a Chardonnay house through and through based in Cuis, sitting on some of the oldest Chardonnay vines in the Cte des Blancs, and utterly uninterested in making anything else. Fleuron is where they turn up the intensity: mostly Grand Cru fruit from Cramant and Chouilly, rounded out with Cuis, drawn from eight separate lieux dits and bottled only in vintages worth the trouble. 2019 gives it ripeness without losing the chalk. This is Blanc de
