2022 Fletcher, Barbaresco 'Faset', Piedmont, Italy Baron Thenard AGING:Bottling in April-MayFrom a steep, south facing parcel on marl soils in the Faset cru, this Barbaresco is 100% Nebbiolo, destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in open top vats. Aged 24 months in seasoned 300L French oak (10+ years old), then 3 months in bottle. No post ferment maceration, minimal handling. Dense and structured, more Barolo than Barbaresco in profile. Unfined, unfiltered.
