2021 Domaine Rene Rostaing Cote-Rotie La Landonne, Rhone, France I Pentri • Maceration takes place forRostaing farms approximately 1. 6 ha of vines in La Landonne, many over 60 years oldsome nearing a centuryplanted in red, iron rich schist soils on Cte Brunes steep slopes. Hand harvested Syrah is fermented with roughly 1020% whole clusters, depending on vintage, with the rest destemmed. The wine matures for up to two years in mostly used French oak barrels, with only ~10% new oak to maintain purity and focus.
