This appellation is world renowned for its famous sweet wine and is favored by its climate and gravelly soils, where the greatest classified growths are located. It is a sweet white wine produced from grapes affected by botrytis cinerea and renowned grape varieties such as Smillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle.
