They are made with Nickel Free Hypoallergenic Niobium wire which is anodized in a yellow gold color for even the most sensitive ears. The hammered end reflect the light and keep them from sliding out to easily. The hooks are anodized in a yellow gold color, there is no actual gold involved in the process of anodizing so if you react to gold you can still
