9" tall with a diameter of 3 1/2" across at base

The white irregularities seem for the most part to be indigenous to the stone rather than dings to the surface

I believe this box dates to the late 19th century

I'm not much of a gambler, but this definitely has a James Bond sort of glamour to it that makes me want to grab a martini and place a bet! 3 1 2" x 5 1 2" and in very good condition, a but unevenly cut.
