Wonderful (and Succinct) Old Carved Folk Art Boat Diorama for the vanity as if she was conceived

as if she was conceived as topless but then a little modesty was applied

I especially love the hearts in the bottom corners and crowns just above them

Orange and yellow" 2 5/8" t x 2 3/4"

though the crayons themselves are so pretty I'm happy just to look at them

at its lowest point it measures 1 inch high

Wonderful (and Succinct) Old Carved Folk Art Boat Diorama for the vanity as if she was conceivedOne sees old three dimensional carved ship "diorama" from time to time sometimes behind glass, sometimes not but this is the first I've seen done in such a succinct manner, with the ship carved in relief in an arched niche, and I think it's quite fabulous. It's a bit hard to tell but it seems it may have all be carved out of the one block of wood with the background painted behind the sails of the ship, which are three dimensional. I love the the feet
