Description
but neither weighty nor over the top as might be expected for a wine of such extreme richness
fresh and layered aromas consist of citrus confit
Like several of the wines in the range there is a touch of warmth but it’s not enough to really impair the balance
liquorice and damson
There is a velvety side to this Lupicaia
Gerard Raphet, Chambolle Musigny Brut Zero but neither weighty nor over(from Les Bussires; note that this wine in some markets is labeled as such). Ripe aromas combine moderately high toned notes of red currant, raspberry and even a wisp of cranberry with those of exotic tea, spice and a hint of violet. The rich, caressing and very round middle weight flavors conclude in a firm and lingering if mildly edgy finish. This is really quite pretty though the balance isnt completely dialed in.
