I have only found one other old jointed pull toy clown out there that matches this one precisely in structure and silhouette

with horizontal folds that should flatten out pretty easily if pressed under something heavy and a little staining here and there and along the left edge

Little Hand-carved Black-Stained Shoe! whitework 8" t (not including topI love a little carved shoe, and this is a very sweet one not a bit fussy, but with just the right amount of detailing for the seams, eye holes and heel. I really like the black stain on it, which somehow really brings it to life, calling up images of a well suited man who might have worn it! 3 5 8" l x 1 1 8" w x 1 1 4" t and in great condition, with some age for sure.
