This should repay a few years of keeping as it will need time to unwind

This appears to have the stuffing to allow the flavors and finish to flesh out as the wine ages though I doubt that it will ever be seductive

leather and tar flavors grace the palate

followed by intense layers of fruit that totally saturate the palate

The Hilt, Old Guard Chardonnay Vintage:2010 This should repay a few(55% fruit from Sanford & Benedict vineyard and 45% from Solomon Hills vineyard), Pale gold. Musky, heady aromas of yellow plum, poached pear, lemon pith and iodine. Pliant and creamy in texture, with a restrained sweetness to its deep orchard and citrus fruit flavors. Finishes spicy and long, with a smoky mineral nuance adding bite. Josh Raynolds
