I have seen a similar piece described as a Turkish "symbols" rug

with just a few very tiny dark spots

There is a little chipping to the glaze on the far end edges and in one area on the underside--documented in detail photos

Definitely an old one, unusual for bearing old white paint, and with I think an especially great shape to the hanging ring. Id treat it as found sculpture, but certainly it could be hung and used for
