I think the dark gray cut paper border around the linen is the absolutely perfect detail

A bit larger than a miniature

with a handmade hand planer and carpenter's square to boot

9 1/4" t x 6 1/16" x 5/8" d

There is a fair amount of wear/loss to the paper

Weathered and Atmospheric Old Oil on Canvas Farmhouse Painting disarmed I think the dark grayFound in New Hampshire yesterday, where I bet it was painted, or else not far across the border to a neighboring state, as the sprawling farmhouse looks very familiar to these parts. No masterpiece, but I think it's a great one from an atmospheric standpoint, and it's the sort of painting that makes me want to build a salon style wall of folk art paintings of farms and farmhouses, or just houses in general or perhaps just all about shades of green!
