Like several of the wines in the range there is a touch of warmth but it’s not enough to really impair the balance
That is not to say that I think the wines could not have been improved in the past
It has a medium to full-bodied texture and is both tense and crystalline
Bart, Chambertin Clos De Beze Vintage:2013 the palate is pleasantly tart(from a . 44 ha parcel with vines that were originally planted in 1904 though there has been a significant amount of replanting since). Discreet but not invisible wood influence easily allows the overtly spicy and floral inflected red currant and dark pinot fruit aromas to shine. The succulent and slightly denser larger scaled flavors also possess noticeably better depth on the highly persistent and well balanced finale. Good stuff and I like the
