The narrowness of the neck makes one want to be a bit careful carrying it around but is very sound and seems quite sturdy

with some scuffs and scratches and paint loss here and there

I believe it is German Erzgebirge, earlyish 20th century, and while there is a lot of detail on what is technically the front and it is good all the way around, but it is the simplicity of the back side, with just these paned, not quite linearly placed windows, that I especially love. Great silhouette and dark red painted chimney too. Very charming. 5 3 16" w
