comparing it to the 2017 it does not quite have the same tension and mineralité
ripe tannins reach the front teeth on the extremely long aftertaste
this is a wine of finesse
A little obvious in style
Overall this is fantastic and should effortlessly reward longer-term cellaring yet be approachable after only 5 or so years
Pascal Prunier Bonheur, Meursault Clous other_regions_australia comparing it to the 2017One can smell the minerality on the wafting nose of acacia blossom, various white orchard fruit, just sliced citrus and a similar hint of petrol character. The vibrant and relatively generously proportioned medium weight flavors brim with sappy extract on the stony, youthfully austere and lingering finale where a similar hint of bitter zest appears. This isnt as racy as the best in the range but offers fine quality for its level. One to consider.
