This would be fantastic used as a huge serving platter for tapas or antipasti

and the armature on which they are mounted looks to be copper

The wood framing is in very good condition

which I think have just a terrific form

The shape is that of a bucket or pail

I found it at the estate sale of an artist and gallerist on Newbury Street in Boston, who dealt mostly in Haitian art but had a wonderful, eclectic collection of handmade objects from around the world.
