C. 1940s Hand-painted Hub Caps Sign on Cardboard sucres canister typical of these toysThis and a second one just listed I purchased from a dealer in the Hudson River Valley who always has wonderful things of great variety; I'd guess these originated at a service station not far from there, c. 1940s. Hand painted on cardboard with great color, making one nostalgic for the nearly lost art of sign painting and also for the prices of yesteryear! 13 3 4" x 13 3 4". A little wear loss to the corners but in overall good shape.
