Domaine Vincent & Francois Jouard 'La Maltroie' V.V 1er Cru Chassagne Montrachet 2020 AZAL Schist and ardoise (a typeThe Chassagne Montrachet La Maltroie 1er Cru has a lovely bouquet with yellow plum and honeysuckle scents soaring from the glass. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with good substance and grip on the finish. Well worth hunting down, though afford it a couple of years in bottle as there is a bit of reduction.
