I wouldn’t describe this as a typical Niellon Chevalier but it is certainly a dramatic and high-quality wine
(cherrywood
white chocolate
and I suspect that its origin in the crème de la crème of Roederer's Cristal-worthy holdings has even more to do with the extra dimension it possesses above and beyond its white counterpart than the delicate infusion of Pinot Noir phenolics that give it its delicate pink hue
balanced and impressively long and complex finale
Jean-Michel Gerin, Cote Rotie Champin Seigneur Vintage:2010 I wouldn’t describe this as(includes roughly 10% viognier), Bright purple. Aromas of candied dark fruits, cola and woodsmoke, with a spicy overtone. Brighter red fruits appear on the palate, which offers an array of spicy berry flavors, seamless texture and very good energy. Finishes spicy and sweet, with a late note of violet and excellent focus. Josh Raynolds
