I'm completely in love with this curious little hand-embroidered character in a traditional costume that I'd guess is Eastern European

with a nice tight grip

it is very sound and the drawers open and close with ease

It's seen some use, with some scratches and rust and a little spots of paint, and seems to rest at a weight a bit to the left of zero but it's still a great little object, with a terrific mix of curves and angles. I'd sit it on a shelf with a favorite little treasure of two set on its platform, which swivels 360 degrees. 5 1 2" tall x x 4 1 4" wide x 2 1 2" deep.
