and have been inspecting the undersides of plates with added vigor too

I just think it's a great wooden puzzle

Through all of these carefully laid bits of wood

The child shadowed in the doorway with hand laid on the skirt of the older woman appears rather sickly, so I do wonder if perhaps a facility for individuals with polio?
