Description
a couple of tiny tears at left and right edges toward the bottom
one in 1907 and one in 1912
Of course one might need to make some handwritten additons to the list
and whoever made him put quite an extraordinary effort into decorating most every inch of his knit body with thousands of tiny French knots
Front clasp closes and holds tight
Matte Green Glazed Arts and Crafts Rounded Lip Bowl / Bulb Planter surface design a couple of tiny tearsWhether to use as a planter or just fills it with some pretty rocks, I think the rounded lip form of this bowl is super satisfying, and of course made better by the matte green glaze. C. 1920 30s Zanesville I believe, and in great shape; just lovely. 5 1 4" in diameter x 2 1 8" t. Some irregularity to the glazing as is always the case with these, all to the good I think, and some staining and crazing to the interior. No chips or cracks.
