) There is also a very small threadbare area just above the right wing of the pheasant

SOLD Early 1850s Hand-drawn Ink and Watercolor Map of South America wood truck Hands down my favorite transferI managed to find the published map this hand drawn one was based on, printed as a engraving in Samuel Augustus Mitchell's(1792 1868) Mitchell's School and Family Geography, 1839. Though interesting now to see Chili spelled with an "i" and Buenos Ayres as a country, etc., this hand drawn version is pretty true to the published one except a million times better for being hand done! Excellent hand lettering in a young hand all over, and wonderful
