Antique French Portieux Vallerysthal Faceted Opaline Glass Vessel with Gold Stars nine pins but what en envelopI don't usually pay much attention to glass, but I saw this and swooned; to my eye a completely lovely thing, with opaline glass the more perfectly radiant, otherworldly sort of surface to bear a field of hand painted golden stars. In perfect condition, this just feels like a gift of a thing. Early 20th c. I believe, with "France P. V" painted in gold on the underside. 2 3 4 t x 2 1 4 w and in excellent condition.
