but they're really fabulous
with thick expressionistic strokes of deep blue glaze against white body lending lots of energy
with some surface splitting to the wood showing through the white paint
I am not entirely certain as I'm not especially adept at identifying metals but it seems likely to me the body of the piece is bronze and the base and lid brass
