Fermented in large casks and then aged in wood, it offers toastiness as well as pineapple and apricot flavors. A tang of acidity and lemon zest marks the finish. Established in 1945 by Marcel Gitton with barely one acre, the Domaine covers today 27 hectares nestled amongst the best sites of the Sancerre appellation. The Gitton family pioneered single site, terroir focused wines, planted on
