after I’ve rejected so many
making me think whoever made this was an artist of note
this wonderfully tender gesture of interlocking arms at the very center of the image
the brother I assume of Henry Fisher
including with gold for the torso and the arms
Naive Graphite Portrait of Mrs Eli Frederick Moses, 1911 clay flowers after I’ve rejected so manyWhat really does it for me on this one is the beauty mark just to the left of Mrs. Eli Frederick Moses' eye! I love the line drawn between that eye and eyebrow, too, which together with all of her jewelry and flourishes makes her feel pretty fancy. Drawing by young girls attentive to the fashions of ladies of their day seem to be finding me lately, which I love as a genre for the sort of dreamy future aspiration they represent. 11" x 6 3 4", graphite
