Antique Hand-cut Painted Tin Miniature Folk Art Chairs, with Sharp Teeth! shape sequence cards 1908–1910I've never seen another pair quite like these, a pair of miniature chairs, one a rocker, cut from tin and painted red and black like toleware. They feel of a piece with those antique house and church shaped tole painted still banks I like so much in the same palette too, which makes me think likely late 19th century. And with fabulous gothic feeling detailing to backs and sides including some very sharp points, as if to say hands or bottoms off! Each
