Isole Olena, Cepparello Vintage:2009 crushed chalk and then aDeep ruby. Cola like notes complicate aromas of black cherry, rhubarb and cocoa. Ripe, smooth and dense, with velvety, seamless flavors of black cherry, plum and spicy oak. Finishes spicy, vibrant and long. This is very impressive but shows less sangiovese perfume than usual.
