It was quite finely carved of the mineral sepiolite

it feels wonderful in the hand and is unique from every angle

Charming Extra Small Hand-painted Transferware Child's Cup with Lamb original Naef blocks but the top comes allAnother thing I'm always looking at is 19th c. transferware child's cups, and at this point have become pretty familiar with a wide variety of them, mostly Staffordshire, but others too. I've never seen one quite like this, though, which is extra small, and extra good I think, with this transferware lamb running forever in place, animated by bold swipes of blue and yellow paint, creating a horizon line of sorts with sky above and ground below, plus
