This is a bit more aromatically complex than the Champeaux because while the fruit profile is similar there is more of the sauvage-like earth

Moderate but not really invasive wood serves as a backdrop for the mix of various dark berry fruit elements where additional breadth is present in the form of earth

Like the Morey villages, there is a whiff of the exotic present on the overtly floral aromas of white peach, melon and lychee. Otherwise there is good volume to the plump and round medium bodied flavors that exhibit a subtle minerality on the nicely focused finale that offers acceptable depth and persistence.
