Great patina and indestructible

so I presume the base (walnut I believe) was glued on

Under glass it in a nice antique black stained frame I had on hand waiting for the right thing

It may be the case that all three were once part of a larger piece

Beautiful and Beautifully Worn Make Do Brass (Presumed Artillery Shell) Scoop with Carved Wooden Handle whimsy carving with heavy wear/some loss onI jumped on this one because I find it a very beautiful and poetic feeling old handmade tool and then I realized the brass scoop was likely cut from an artillery shell, making this both a make do creation and a piece of trench art of sorts. And clearly a scoop was much needed by whoever made it with the carved handle here showing a beautiful dark and warm dry wood patina from much much handling. I find the line of that deep arc of the scoop's opening
