Beautiful Small Two Piece Carved Black Duck curated pottery but remains in good condition

with a red marble one is trying to progress from one to the other (and the box text assuring us that it can be done

with their sculptural forms and interesting color palettes—and the surface of these is wonderfully alligatored to boot

they really pop against the unpainted (clear) glass backgrounds

Beautiful Small Two Piece Carved Black Duck curated pottery but remains in good conditionThis lovely old carved wooden duck is small a bit shy of 5 inches long but has quite a wonderful presence and sense of specialness about it, in significant part I think due to the head having been carved from a separate piece of wood than the body, which, together with the sensitive carving of the form, makes me think perhaps caved by a practiced decoy maker.
