I found her at a wonderful estate sale chock full of mid-century and contemporary ceramics

Very Tender Old Homemade Doll with Embroidered Face American western settlement though am not sure whereOf course I could not resist this wonderful face I am certain there is a deep soul in there! This doll has clearly lived a life, with some lost yarn hair along the way, but the body is holding together very well, no holes at all. I find her (I think her) very beautiful, looking both keen and serene, and with the tilt of those pursed red lips outlined in dark brown making her look as if perpetually waiting for a chance to speak. 14 1 2" t x 4 1 2" wide
