Specifically, these are shards of ancient glass, most showing some, or a whole lot, of iridescence. People tend to call all iridescent glass Roman, but whether this is exclusively Roman or a mix including ancient glass from other regions I not expert enough to say. I can say it all feels very magical, and luxurious laid out in front of
