Bellevue Mondotte Vintage:2004 yields of 22 hl/ha inRuby red. Roasted plum, toffee, game and nutty oak on the nose. Lush, fat and stuffed with fruit. A wonderfully pliant 2002 with noteworthy density and richness. Sound acids and suave but firm edged tannins give this excellent balance. Finishes very long and ripe. This is even stronger than it appeared to be from barrel last spring. Stephen Tanzer
