This is a lovely small Burmese lacquer box decorated with “yun-de” incised decoration
it was made by Arthur Armour (1908-1998)
In addition to this wonderful image of two young men the canoe landing
the other I think a bat (a little cat-like too)
"Try It" c. 1960 Milton Bradley Lucite Ball in Maze Puzzle old decoy the perfect board for servingI've always got an eye out for puzzles and games that double as cool sculptural objects, and think this c. 1960 Milton Bradley "Try It" acrylic ball in maze puzzle is definitely that. There is a "start" hole and and an "out" hole molded into the clear plastic, with a red marble one is trying to progress from one to the other (and the box text assuring us that it can be done!) This is a pretty rare one, with its original box, which is in pretty good
